The
SecureFirst service is the basic e-mail security
service.
SecureFirst provides simple, reliable protection
against both known and unknown e-mail borne threats
without any hardware or software installation on the
user's computers. Risky content which can not be
reliably disinfected is simply removed from all
incoming e-mail and replaced with a notice to the
recipient.
The
SecureActive service level gives companies complete
control over their e-mail security policy, without
sacrificing simplicity or imposing unnecessary
management costs.
SecureActive stores unmodified copies of all
modified messages in a Quarantine. The user has
access to reports and online statistics. In the
event of a false-positive users can use the
MailTotal Anti-Virus web site to approve individual
messages for "unscanned" delivery.
Messages are kept in the Quarantine for 60 days.
Features, that can be customized in SecureActive
include:
-
Virus scanning and disinfection policies.
-
Customizable FireNet preventative security
measures, including such features as message
header sanity checks, standard compliance checks
and removal of JavaScript or "web bugs" from HTML
e-mail.
-
Custom quarantine behaviour ranging from enhanced
backup service (for those with the SecurePlus
service) to the option of never storing any
messages in quarantine, for those with sensitive
e-mail.
-
Access to the web interface can be controlled,
giving some users permission to manipulate the
contents of their own quarantine while others must
seek assistance from a system administrator.
The
SecurePlus is an online, remote backup system for
corporate e-mail. It includes all the features of
SecureActive, but provides excellent protection
against loss of critical e-mail resulting from
hardware failures or human error. The online web
interface provides users with simple, intuitive
access to their backed up e-mail.
Copies of all incoming messages are kept in the
backup area for 90 days. |
